Access Control

Access control and automatic gates with LiftMaster

From a single pedestrian door to the vehicle gate of an entire residential community, we design access systems that open for whoever should get in, and log everything else.

Access control and automatic gates with LiftMaster
What it involves

An automatic gate that just opens and closes isn't an access control system, it's a motor. The difference is what decides when it opens: a code, a card, an app, a face, or some combination. We work with LiftMaster motors for vehicle and pedestrian gates because they've been the U.S. standard for decades, with reliable support and an open platform that lets us integrate them with the rest of the system instead of leaving them isolated.

What we install

From the front door to the vehicle gate

LiftMaster motors

Vehicle and pedestrian motors from the brand that dominates residential and commercial installs in the U.S., with app control and battery backup for power outages.

Card and biometric readers

RFID card, PIN code or fingerprint credentials, with centralized management, adding or removing a person takes seconds, not a service call.

Gates and vehicle arms

Design and installation of the physical gate alongside the automation, including safety sensors to keep the gate from closing on a vehicle or a person.

Video intercom integration

The same system controlling access can visually verify whoever's requesting entry, before deciding whether the door opens.

Why the design matters

A system, not a list of devices

  • One credential for every access point on the project, instead of a different card for each door.

  • Battery backup on motors and controllers, so a power outage doesn't leave the property without access or without security.

  • A log of every opening, who, when and where, available whenever you actually need it.

  • Built to grow: adding a door or a new user shouldn't mean rebuilding the system.

Frequently asked questions

About access control

Still have a question that isn't here? Write to us and we'll answer, no obligation.

The LiftMaster motors we install include battery backup, and on projects where access is critical (like residential communities) we also recommend a dedicated backup battery for the access controller.

Let's start with a site visit, not a quote

Every property is different. We'd rather see the space and understand how it runs before proposing equipment.
